About the Designer
Michelle VanBibber is Ciao Bella Jewelry's president and designer. Ciao Bella Jewelry was established in 2008 and was named after Michelle's 5 year old daughter. While traveling through Italy with her family in 2006, the Italian men marveled at her daughters blond hair saying "Ciao Bella", which means Hello Beautiful. After returning from Europe, Michelle was looking for a name for her company and her daughter suggested using her "Italy name".
Michelle is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where she studied Animal Science & Art. Her collections are inspired by nature and the world around her. Michelle uses assorted media in her designs and is always willing to try new things.
Most of Ciao Bella Jewelry business is wholesale for gift shops, boutiques, museums and hotel shops. Michelle does do custom designs for individuals upon request.
